Have you ever thought about putting on a cyclocross race? You know of a park near you that would be perfect, but you're just not sure where to start? Join the ToBeDetermined cycling team and long-time event directors Kacey and Gabe Lloyd of Long Tail Creative for a discussion about the ins-and-outs of setting up and running your own race.
Former elite racers turned professional event producers, Kacey and Gabe have decades of experience putting on fun races with high production values. If you've ever been to Pineapple CX, Easton Crit, or Fifth Street Cross, you've been to a Long Tail Creative race.
This event will be held on Zoom, featuring a discussion with Kacey and Gabe about what they've learned over the years about how to run a successful event, followed by plenty of time for audience questions. Total run time will be about 90 minutes. While much of the discussion will be specific to cyclocross, those looking to start any type of grassroots cycling event are welcome to attend. We hope you'll get something out of it!
This event is FREE, sponsored by the ToBeDeveloped Cycling Grant Program, but requires registration.
