In the time honored Belgian tradition of cyclocross and beer, Sly Fox Brewing Company presents the 8th Annual Sly Fox Cross!
SLY FOX CX 2026
Paved, sprint prologue, like the 2025 version, takes a sweeping 90-degree turn into the concaved hedgerow followed by a 1% grade trail straightaway. Contend with some off-camber followed by grass turns in a soft meadow – maybe even catch view of a plane on the runway.
Throw out your sail and crush the macadam straightaway back towards the brewery past your first option to pit. Make your way to the lower part of the course, over some logs in the trail overlooking the Colebrookdale Railroad and back into the main grass field.
Climb through the woods, holding onto any hope you make the ride-up. The crowd will be yelling loudly, offering pickles and sloshing beers. Only you can determine if the noise is triumphant cheers or boos. Note: boos are discouraged unless the racer is your best friend or isn’t smiling.
Back through the main grass field, past the pit in case you trashed your gear in the Fox Pit, through the sea crates out back of the brewery and repeat. Hopefully you get a few times to show your CX acumen to the cheering crowds.
Sly Fox will be providing food so you can make a day out of it. What better way to combine the Sly Fox community with the cycling community than with a race? Please see above for special BikeReg beer and food deals.
Sly Fox Brewing Company supports the cycling community so PLEASE support them!
