A Gravel Ride for the People!
Although over shadowed by less significant events at the time, upon their arrival in Plymouth the Pilgrims found more than a mere "rock" upon which they hoped to land all their dreams. Rather, they found a rich & diverse countryside laced with miles of idyllic gravel roads, accented by scenic vistas, and punctuated with an abundance of fine craft brews & richly roasted coffee. Building upon that spirit of adventure & excitement that they felt that day, we now present for your entertainment and pedaling enjoyment, The Dirty Pilgrim.
Ladies & gentlemen, early-risers & thrill seekers, snack enthusiasts & coffee fiends... Let us all now go in peace and Pedal in Dirt. May the Grit Be With You.
-Amen
About:
The Dirty Pilgrim is the brainchild of longtime South Shore gravel aficionados Steve Cobble, Brian Carlson, & Dave Farrell. They're constantly looking to explore old trails, find new routes to ride, and always doing so with with less pavement involved. Now although some group led rides will be available, in general you should be comfortable with self-navigating via GPS or plan on riding with someone who is. To that end, be sure to bring ample food & water, spare tubes & inflators, a fully charged cell phone, and a healthy “can do” attitude. We'll see you out there!
Date:
Sunday, November 1st
In the event of rain, event will be postponed to Nov 8th.
Admission:
$15
